BACKGROUND
We begin a series on the Book of Colossians - written by Paul -
it’s the 7th letter of his 14 letters - Colossae was located in
Asia minor (Turkey) 100 miles west of Ephesus (Paul’s ministry
base for more than 3 years) – his had a tremendous impact in the
region.
Acts 19:10

Philemon 2
It’s believed the church started in Philemon’s home
The letter was written about AD 60 while Paul was in prison
(Rome) - Paul was God’s great problem solver and he wrote
solutions for the churches to follow. The fact that the problems
apparent in the church and the solutions were placed in the
Bible means that God recognized we would experience problems
like these and could benefit from this letter. In an overview of
the book Paul says three things to the church.

through the church as Head of the church.

and Asia where ideas and philosophies intersected.

CONCLUSION
The Bible is a manual, a playbook on how to live. Everything you
need for is in the Bible. Colossians says we are complete in
Christ Jesus. If you are feeling incomplete I invite you to come
to the altar and let Jesus invade your heart and life . . .
Today . . . Right here . . . Right now!
