Salem's vision can be summed up in one word: MINISTRY Ministry simply means that we are devoted to the Lord Jesus Christ and passionate about carrying His message to a hurting and dying world.                                  

Ministry in two directions:

• Vertically to God. We join together to minister to the Lord through our praise and worship.
• Horizontally to our community and the world.

By our fellowship and witness of the Gospel message we minister in God’s love.

These two directions form a cross and it’s the Cross of Jesus Christ that calls each of us to dependence on God as a lifestyle. Jesus, our Lord, is teaching us that He wants to entrust us with His work and that He will enable us to do it. As our congregation learns to trust Him, several humanly impossible ministries have opened up to us. These challenges have reminded us of the axiom:

“It’s easier to do the impossible with God than the possible without Him!”

What’s important to remember is not how much we do for God, but how much God does through us.
